I made Jayden a game for his birthday! I wanted to give him something a little more personal, and spelling seemed like a good excuse to turn learning into a game.
This one is a Flash project. The web page is mostly the wrapper that loads JaydenGame.swf; the interactive part lives inside the compiled movie rather than in the page’s JavaScript. That makes it a different sort of web project from the little HTML games I have been trying. Flash gives me a place to put the visual pieces and the game together without building every bit of the presentation in the browser.
Mostly, I just like getting to make a birthday present that is actually about the person receiving it. Happy birthday, Jayden! Have fun spelling. 🙂
