For our family Kids Day, I made a digital scavenger hunt. Riddle Quest starts with the kids and Mizzet waking up in a secret base in the sky. Getting home is going to take a little more work than finding the front door.
I used RPG Maker MV again, but the focus here is on clues and riddles instead of a big combat adventure. The maps and event pages hold the conversations, answer choices, and branches that decide what happens next. A guard can ask a trick question, check the selected answer, and either let the party through or give them another try.
The browser version makes it easy to open the game without installing a separate Windows RPG. I did not need to write a new renderer or invent an inventory system just to make a family activity. The fun part was putting our kids into the story and making the hunt feel like their own little adventure.
