I found a way to play some of the old Flash games Shantell and I made! When Flash disappeared from browsers, these felt a little lost, even though I still had the files.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trick is Ruffle<\/a>, a Flash emulator written in Rust that runs in the browser through WebAssembly. I added Ruffle’s JavaScript loader<\/a> to simple HTML pages around the original .swf<\/code> files. No old browser or Flash plugin to install, and I didn’t have to rewrite the games!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A birthday game I made for Jayden, with pirates, a treasure map, and a little spelling practice. Shantell and I had fun making a game that was just for him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A very serious detective adventure starring Fiero and Mr. Fu. Someone has to find the cake! Looking at these pictures of our cats again might be my favorite part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sequel to The Case of the Missing Cake<\/em>. Apparently one ridiculous cat adventure wasn’t enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
